#105. To Exercise or Not to Exercise – that is the question… only during Neuropathy

In the beginning

Before we learned the word Neuropathy, the spontaneous reaction was, physical-exercise; long walks, gym and suchlike. In hindsight however, physical-exercise was a bad idea and if we had to do it again, we would avoid it.

The battle with Neuropathy has to prioritize two fronts; destroy the parasite and rich nourishment to supply abundant energy to muscle reconstruction.

While stricken by Neuropathy, some tissue, as the Calf-muscle appeared diminished but after destroying the colony, it turned out that there was a gash and part of the muscle was in fact eaten away by bacteria.

The parasite consumed the flesh and the discovery was astonishing. However, do not despair, as we did, with rich nourishment and idleness, the flesh reconstructs.

Power diet for Neuropathy

We changed diet, and it worked well. We went from vegetarian, to ground-beef, mainly to prop-up muscle reconstruction and settled for one pound of ground-beef a day and kept at it every day, month after month.
After a hundred pounds of ground-beef, muscle reconstruction was decent. The beef indulgence regenerated lost flesh and provided adequate energy.

While mending it is essential to focus on acquiring energy. Physical-exercise during Neuropathy is counterproductive and wastes precious resources.
